What is a Critical Illness Rider?
It's a simple addition to your life insurance policy with Farmers Insurance. It's like an advance on your policy if you were to get critically ill.  You can get a rider for up to 50% of your policy.

How does it work?
Very simple:  Let's say you get a life insurance policy for $100,000 and get a rider for $50,000.  If you were to get critically ill, (meeting all criteria, of course), then Farmers will send you a tax free check for $50,000.  Your life insurance policy will now be worth $50,000 instead of $100,000 but it won't matter at the time.  You will be so glad to have the rider because it is very expensive to be sick and/or not be able to work at full capacity.  Contact your local Farmers Insurance Agent for more specific information.
